| Posting on xanga seems like such a trivial thing. Yet, it was one of the last things that she did

Sze Wai (Christy) Lee, 16 years old, didn't wake up on Sept 4, 2005... Ever again.
When I first found out, I cried at all that she left behind... just moving to a new place, learning to live without a mother, new school... new language... Within that time I had the privilage of getting to really know her. She was like the little sister, that understood what being a big sister was. She was mature for her age, serious about Christ, and was going to help her father and younger brother continue on. She was such a good girl, so bright. Her favourite pop idol was Lead - a jap boyband. She gushed whenever she talked about them. She wasn't very girly, but she was anxious to get started in learning about dresses, and skirts. Being a normal teen again.Yet, God allowed/decided to take her home early, due to reasons we cannot and will probably never understand. What I do know is, she is now with her mother in heaven, a far better place than we are in.
I miss her, my heart is heavy with sadness at seeing her go so suddenly at such a young age... I loved her, I'm going to keep praying that God take care of her while he helps her family move on...

| Thank God for the little things -
This week hasn't been the best of weeks, 2 courses, a final saturday, midterm next wed... crazy readings waiting for me, isolation, crazy weekend coming... I guess the good thing about having all this time by myself to think (while I'm err studying...) is to remember the little things God is doing to keep my sanity alive this week.
- Mom came in with fruits today while I was studying
- Praise and worship to look forward to, to expell all this energy supressed this week
- Awesome weather
- Cousin's bday - a day out with people!
I'm sure there are more.. there was more.. but back to studying! | | |
